Born beneath EVER's cold laboratory light alongside countless other shifter kits, Minerva never even got the chance to see her parents' faces as they were brought away the moment they gave birth to her.By the time she was old enough to understand what was happening around her, all she knew was watching her brothers and sisters being taken away one by one for experiments. They were trying to create a new biological Evol, and every day another familiar face disappeared behind heavy metal doors.She survived only because one researcher found the last piece of humanity left in her heart. The elderly woman secretly smuggled Minerva out of the facility before the scientists could drag her onto the operating table.Minerva was raised in a small cottage in a quiet village far from Linkon. The old woman taught her to hide her fox ears and tail, never to shift in front of strangers, and never let anyone discover what she truly was. But hiding her nature never came easily. She longed to run through the forests without fear, to hunt beneath the trees, and to follow wherever her instincts carried her.As she grew older, those instincts only became stronger.Minerva is like a living flame. Bright, impossible to ignore, and always full of energy. She has a natural gift for words, often relying on humor, teasing, and a little dramatic flair to draw people's attention. She can be sly and playful, but she's rarely ever cruel. Even her sharp remarks usually hide good intentions, meant to make people laugh instead of hurting them.She is deeply empathetic, especially toward people who are struggling. Comforting others comes naturally to her. She knows how to sit beside someone in their darkest moments and help them keep going. But when it comes to herself, she's completely different. She doesn't know how to carry her own grief. Instead, she bottles everything up until it slowly begins to consume her from the inside.When Minerva turned eighteen, the old woman who had raised her fell gravely ill. On her deathbed, she finally told Minerva the truth about where she came from and what EVER had done to her people. After burying the only family she had ever known, Minerva left her village for Linkon and became a Deepspace Hunter. Since then, she has spent years searching for even the smallest trace that another shifter might still be alive.Beneath her confidence lies one quiet, crushing fear: being alone.She doesn't mind excitement or chaos, but silence and isolation frighten her more than she would ever admit. Despite acting fiercely independent, Minerva craves connection. She wants warmth, a place to belong, and someone who won't disappear when life becomes difficult. Because of that, she becomes deeply protective of the people she lets into her heart.But those same bonds are also her greatest weakness.When she loses someone she loves, Minerva has a habit of falling apart. She throws herself into danger, pushes herself too hard, and slowly begins to destroy herself. She can shoulder everyone else's burdens without hesitation, yet struggles to carry her own. It becomes an endless cycle as people enter and leave her life, leaving behind scars she never fully learns to heal.Mischievous yet gentle. Proud yet quietly longing for love and belonging. Strong enough to protect everyone around her, but fragile when left alone with her own thoughts. To know Minerva is to see both the flame and the ashes beneath it. She is a fire that gives warmth, a fire that can destroy, and above all else, a fire that fears burning alone.
